I drew this self portrait upside down, I started out drawing the outline of my face and the I did the the eyes making sure that the spacing on my face was okay then I drew the nose and the lips and then added in other details. I would say my portrait was significantly better than the first one I tried to do, drawing upside down allows me to forget about the face and focus on the shapes and the position.
